Connor broke away, allowing them both to suck in oxygen. “Stay. I’m sorry. Stay.” He bent his knees to bring them eye to eye. His spoke of torture, but he was trying to hide it. “Look at me. I can handle this. I want you here. Don’t leave.”
“I don’t know if I can handle it,” she whispered.
His heavy breaths ceased. “What do you mean?”
She drew out a lighter from her back pocket and ignited the flame. It cleared her head a little, allowing her to search for the right words. Words that wouldn’t sound crazy. “I like touching you. It makes me feel really…good. And there isn’t a whole lot that makes me feel good, you know?” Her throat closed up. “I wish you could touch me, too. I don’t think I can stay here knowing I’m hurting you by making myself feel good…and I don’t think I can stop touching you. It feels like a must.”
A flare of panic flashed across his face. “I shouldn’t have said what I did earlier. You just caught me off guard.” He massaged his forehead with four fingers. “Did I scare you? Is that why you’re really leaving?”
“No.” She shook her head. “No.”
“Okay. Jesus. Okay.” He was silent a moment, but gears were turning behind his eyes. “You need to touch me and I need you to stay. Let’s give each other what we need. All right?”
Why was this so damn confusing? She’d only met this man yesterday and they were already tangled up [Edc1] in her web of fucked-up [Edc2] issues. He should want to be clear of her, shouldn’t he? No one else had ever bothered with her this long before. “Why? Why do you need me to stay? I—”
“I won’t rest,” he growled. “I’ll think about you somewhere, scared like you were last night, and I’ll go fucking crazy.”
Her heart lurched, dislodging her pride. “I’ve been taking care of myself for a long time. If the only reason you want me here is to play nursemaid to the crazy girl, that’s not going to work for me.”
“You know there’s more to it. You know.” He visibly centered himself with a deep breath, appearing to debate with himself. “I’ve got my own skeletons, Erin. They don’t rattle so much when you’re around. Your touching me…it makes me hot. But it soothes elsewhere.”
She knew her expression was pathetically hopeful, but couldn’t find a single shit to give. “Yeah?”
“Yeah,” he repeated. “I’m not going to lie, Erin. Yes, I want to sleep with you like hell. But only if it’s healthy. Would you trust me enough to go slow? A little at a time?”
Her pulse hammered out of control. “You touching me?”
Connor watched her closely. “When you’re ready. Not before. Never before.”
This is where she should climb down the fire escape and vamoose toward the street. A weight pressed down on her rib cage, making it difficult to draw a breath. It felt like the point of no return. But Connor’s eyes grounded her.
Safe. He’s safe.
“Okay, baby. Slow.”
His body drained of tension. “Thank you.” He leaned in and brushed their lips together, gently, reverently. “First, we talk.”

Thank you for your interest in my books! I'm Tessa and I live in the crazy, loud, overcrowded borough of Brooklyn, New York. I love it here. This city is a constant source of inspiration, which is why I've decided to set my most recent books in the Line of Duty Series here.
I moved to New York when I was eighteen, the day after I graduated high school. Threw my suitcase in the back of a Chevrolet Cavalier and drove across the country to find my adventure. I'm still finding it, little by little.Thank you for being a part of it.

They say hate is the closest emotion to love. Will the fiery redhead win over the U.S. Marshal and submit to his darkest desires? Or will her deep sexual cravings surprise even him.
Ethan Radcliff has been writing stories since he was a kid. He loves creating and tried his hand at art, but felt he wasn't good enough. Through high school he wrote erotic stories,
kept them in a notebook and let a few of his girlfriends read them. He then began writing poetry, which he kept to himself, because most of his poems were based on erotica. His brain never stopped. He became serious about writing erotic romance stories a few years ago and wondered how hard it would be to break through the barrier as a male erotic romance writer.
He delved into the world of BDSM and took a personal journey through the lifestyle, which aided in his writing.
He'd been a face book user for years. He never saw anything interesting until he began to see all the writers and then some poets posting their erotic prose. Men who were writing erotic romance began to crop up. He watched and then began to post a few poems here and there. The response was good and then better. He was being noticed.
He can see a picture and write a poem. He can see an attractive women and conger up a sexy scenario. The jiggle of a full ass or heavy breasts can get him going. His mind is always is on an attractive face or body.
His thanks go out to Bitten Press LLC and the two lovely women who run it, for goading him on, telling him to go for it and he did.
His first short story is The Taming of Molly Jenkins. It's hot. Is it based on personal experience? All he can answer is, perhaps. The next short story is The Wait, Britt's undoing. There will be more. He has a paranormal erotic romance series, Desires of Blood which at the moment is six books strong. Stay tuned for some historical, contemporary and fantasy erotica from him. Yes, and he will continue with some great stories including some BDSM adventures. He has one book of erotic poetry published; it has been an amazing success.
Follow Ethan Radcliff as he continues to entertain you. He can write any genre and intends to broaden his scope as an author in 2015.
His thanks go out to all his readers. Without them he'd be still be writing notes in his composition notebook, waiting for that right moment. You made it happen for him.

Describe your writing style in three words…….
Sarcastic, sex-filled, haphazard
Which is your favourite chapter that you've wrote and why?
So far it would be the chapter in Lex's Melody where Alex and Mel go to the Aquarium and just have fun. It was nice to show a playful side to the dominant man.
What has been your toughest criticism given to you as an author? What has been your best compliment?
Too much sex (didn't know that was a thing! lol)
Best compliment is just people loving the books, that makes my heart swell.
Is there a message in your novel/novels that you want your reader to grasp?
Not really, but if I had to say one for Alex, I guess that dominant men don't actually have to be assholes without feelings and weaknesses, that they are real people, human and flawed, and dominance isn't just an excuse to act like a jerk.
What advice would you give to aspiring authors?
Network and make friends. Find your own path, no matter what someone else has done. Get a REALLY great editor.
If you could meet one of your own characters who would it be and why?
Jonny Tyler. He's my favourite, he's everything that I would fall for in a man I guess.
What question have you always wanted to be asked? How would you answer it?
Can we sign your book to our publishing house? And of course I would answer YES!! lol
Series: A Phoenix Rising Rock Band Novel Book 2
Author: Kathryn Kelly
Release Date: June 17th 2015
Georgie has destroyed me. She's threatened my freedom and everything I've worked so hard to build. My band, my music, is the last thing on my mind. I want her to pay for all she's done.
But she's still my Georgie, and my desire for her is as hot as ever. She's my inferno, my biggest mistake and my greatest reward.
My fans see her as their idol's downfall. When her life is threatened, I will come to realize there's nothing in the world more important to me than her. She's my flame. I'm her anchor. Together, we're explosive. We are incendiary. For mature audiences only. Incendiary is not a standalone novel, but is the conclusion to Georgiana McCall's and Sloane Mason's story that began in Inferno.
The moment she slides in next to me, my senses flare to life. The sweet scent of vanilla overwhelms me. Whether it’s my imagination or not, I breathe in for a deeper whiff. I’ve thrived on this memory for almost eight months. A baby’s gurgle and soft coo filters into my ears. My daughter. The child Georgie had for me. Primal instinct roars though me, and I ball my fists. I came in her and filled her with this beautiful baby. Wherever she went, she carried a part of me inside of her and nurtured it as only she could, with an enduring innocence and unconditional love. “Sloane,” Georgie whispers again, and her voice cracks, breaking the spell she’s cast on me and reminding me of her duplicity. Loneliness, fear, and regret, are infused in her voice and written on her face. I’m so fucking furious with her, I’m afraid of what I’ll do if I respond. I ignore her, until my temper is under control. No one knows I’m in the car, but the Paps are out in force. Kiln didn’t hide, and the location of the hospital Georgie was staying at has been plastered everywhere. Speculation will jump to me, and if I’m somehow involved. No matter. I wanted Georgie and knew from the moment I reached my room last night I’d have her at my side. After Zelda left, I sat in Mom’s garden for hours, contemplating my life and unable to step back into a world of drugs. But her memory isn’t what kept me from going for drugs. It was Georgie. Her face. Her taste. Every inch of her is embedded into my psyche. I spent the night considering my next move. With each breath I took, I thought of her. Until the obvious conclusion arose and I agreed with my cook. I needed to see her. I had to get her. I wouldn’t rest until I looked into her deceitful eyes and heard exactly why she went to the fucking cops and the goddamn media. I also knew there was no fucking way I could stay in that mausoleum without her. Therefore, whether she wants to be with me or not, I intend to keep her at my side until I’m satisfied she can’t do any further damage. And I’ve gotten repayment from her for the hell she’s put me through. I owe her.
Other books in the series:
I’m a rocker with the eyes of the world on me. Waiting for my triumph or my downfall…just waiting. Most of my life is in my hands. My destiny? That’s another story. My destiny isn’t as debt free. My band, Phoenix Rising, arrives in Houston to cut a new album. Before we perform our first concert in the city and I choose my groupies of the night, I’m thrust into debauchery. Sleeping with a gorgeous woman twenty years older than me has its perks, especially when her husband orchestrated the encounter and eagerly watches. To me, performing is performing. If a man wants to share his wife, who am I to stop him? Unfortunately for me, I don’t make a clean getaway as I leave the McCall mansion. Georgie, their sixteen-year-old daughter, is in the midst of her own intrigue, sneaking home in the middle of the night after an evening of drugs and sex with her older brother’s best friend. In her, I see me. She’s lost and drifting. Her hedonistic parents insist she’s old enough to make her own decisions. Instead of time and love, they give her money and things. I’m a twenty-five-year old international superstar and I know better. I’m cocky and arrogant. I know it so I own it. Somehow, I’ve always bested the fates. I have all to lose—my reputation, my career, and my freedom. Her mother’s jealousy forces my hand and I take Georgie on the tour. This is our story and our secret relationship and the destruction of my life. You know the adage about secrets? Three may keep a secret, if two of them are dead. Wise words from a wise man. If only I had listened. Secrets have a way of revealing themselves in the harshest way.

“Some boys can get rough, some don’t always listen when you tell them to stop, and some boys, they’re just monsters. You gotta be careful who you play with…” ~ Jax Declan
I’m a tease, always have been. In my teens, Jax Declan tried to warn me about staying away from the bad boys. The only boy I ever wanted was Jax. But, no matter how much I tried to play with him, he rejected me.
I haven’t seen Jax Declan in years. A couple friends and I are going back to the Bayou for the summer. A little older now, and a bit wiser, I’ve decided that I’m going to find my teenage crush and I’m going to break him. This summer Jax Declan will play with me.
But the closer I get and the more I learn about the reserved, discreet, and sexy Jax Declan. Well, I’m starting to think that Jax Declan might just be one of those bad boys he tried to warn me about all those years ago.

I received Jax of NetGalley in exchange for an honest review, Thank you.
Well, where to start, I normally take notes but when I came to the end of Jax, I was so caught up in the story I completely forgot.
Jax is about three friends, who are at loose ends for the summer. After deciding to head back home with a plan to break the Declan brothers.
Emmie is a strong, level-headed character, who has had a crush on Jax since she was in high school. She believes she can take anything that he throws at her. She likes teasing him but will her advances work with Jax.
Jax is dominant and likes to be in control with all aspects of life. He feels the need to have control after something happened in his past. He is definitely an alpha male but with a softer side to him. With responsibilities of looking after his younger brothers after his parents passed away which led him to let Emmie slip away the first time, but he's not so willing to let her go now.
I'm beyond in love this book and can't wait for Slate. I need answers .......... What happened to Slate? Will he rekindle his Love? And Zeke .... Omg, will someone knock him on arse, and make him forget his rules?
Practice Makes Perfect.
Everyone at Hundred Oaks High knows that career mentoring day is a joke. So when Maya Henry said she wanted to be a rock star, she never imagined she’d get to shadow *the* Jesse Scott, Nashville’s teen idol.
But spending the day with Jesse is far from a dream come true. He’s as gorgeous as his music, but seeing all that he’s accomplished is just a reminder of everything Maya’s lost: her trust, her boyfriend, their band, and any chance to play the music she craves. Not to mention that Jesse’s pushy and opinionated. He made it on his own, and he thinks Maya’s playing back up to other people’s dreams. Does she have what it takes to follow her heart—and go solo?

I received Jesse's Girl off NetGalley. Thank you.
Jesse's Girl is a sweet romantic story. A story to show a family is not always blood related.
Maya is an amazing character. I loved the way she helped Jesse but also chased her dreams. Even after be dismissed before she never gave up.
"I learned I have to take chances if I want a chance at my dreams"
I loved Jesse. He's a country singer, but he's lonely. His family haven't stood by him which led him not to trust people. When he has an instant attraction to Maya, he does everything he can to keep her at arms length but she fights her way through his walls.
Jesse's Girl is my first read by Miranda Kenneally, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
Contains graphic sex, drug use, and violence. Not recommended for anyone under 18. Troy Donovan has it all; respect, legacy, and women. Men envy him, and women just want to be with him. All women except for Kaci Quinn. Kaci made the mistake of falling for Troy once when she was twelve. After finding him making out with her cousin she vowed never to fall for his games again. But how will they handle fate throwing them together as Troy tries to prove himself to the organization by avenging his mother's murder? Not to mention the news of an unwanted pregnancy. Will desire bring them closer than ever, or will fate tear them apart for good? "I was a powerful man by birth. My life chosen before I’d taken my first breath, it was a blessing and a curse. Fianna Fáil owned Palms, Florida. Half the cops were on our payroll, and the other half weren’t brave enough to stand against us."

I received this book from S. Kline for an honest review, thank you.
I wouldn't recommend for readers under the age of 18 due to sex, and violence.
Troy is twenty-two years old. Ladies flock to him except for the girl who he's wanted from a young age. She's unattainable or is she.
'I'm going to fucking marry that girl, D'
Troy's been trying to find his mother's killer for years but what will happen when he finds out who killed her?
Troy is filled with suspense, it will keep you gripped from the beginning. Troy is HOT as hell and totally swoon-worthy. The storyline is well established and an all round amazing read!!

I looked up at the sky and the birds flying above us. “I feel like I don’t know who I am anymore. I spent two years with a guy that stripped me of my identity. I feel like all I have of myself is my store and the rest I’m left questioning. I tried so hard to please him, to make him happy, and in the end I made myself miserable. I was just so desperate for it to work out that I overlooked how toxic our relationship was. How stupid is that?”
“You’re human,” he replied. “We have this inane desire to belong to something that is greater than we are on our own. That desire is so strong that we can fool ourselves into believing things that aren’t true.”
“So, I’m not crazy?” I cracked a smile.
“Definitely not crazy.”
His smile was comforting and I reminded myself for the hundredth time that everything would be okay.
I rested my head on his shoulder and a moment later his head rested on top of mine.
A smile touched my lips.
I’d missed this—having someone that understood me completely, even when I didn’t know myself.
