When her big sister goes missing, eighteen-year-old Hailey finds the only thing keeping her safe from a murderous 3,000-year-old beast is an equally terrifying creature who has fallen “madly” in love with her. Competing to win her affection, the Dream Creature, Asher, lures her to the one place that offers safety—a ParaScience university in Alaska he calls home. There, she studies the science of the supernatural and must learn to live with a roommate from Hell, survive her ParaScience classes, and hope the only creature who can save her from an evil immortal doesn’t decide to kill her himself.

What happens when you live an existence without the capacity to love? You don't know or understand the emotions of human's but you're trapped and confused with the way one person makes you feel. Will Asher take the risk of being shunned by the rest of the envoys?
Hailey has lost everyone important in her life but to make matters worse, she's thrown into a world of paranormals, leaving her to embark on a journey of the unknown.
Hailey has a tough decision to make, one that could potentially cost her life. Will she escape the looming possibility of death? Or will her families curse take a toll once again?
Hailey was always known as the outcast, a weirdo to her fellow classmates but after the bullying she endured, I found Hailey to be a strong character.
Asher, mystery, quiet yet scary Asher. One minute he can come across caring and nice the next his attitude would change. I need to find out more about Asher.
Fin, well what can I say I loved him, even though he was playboy and always seemed to have a different girl on his arm. I loved his personality.
What I thought:
I thoroughly enjoyed Eerie, I was gripped from the start. Some parts of the storyline left me wondering what the hell was going on? But everything soon fell into place.
Eerie is an intriguing and original paranormal read, it was a breath of fresh air to read something different.
I can't wait for book two!!
