I was "spoken for" by a Mob grandson, which was either terrifying or kind of cool--I wasn't sure which one yet.
When the realities of life shatter her fragile innocence, Tatum Duncan's courage and resilience are tested. She's determined to be in control of her future. But the love of her life, Zach Bertano, and his mob family may have other plans.
Will she "speak for" Zach, like he has "spoken for" her? Or will Tatum walk away?

I wasn't sure what I was letting myself in for when I started reading Girl Spoken For, I normally read modern young adult books so when I started reading and noticed the date, I was worried that I wasn't going to enjoy it, but I was actually very surprised, not only did I enjoy this book I frigging loved it!!
Tatum Duncan is very naive, her parents are strict, kind of restricting her view of the world. When hot football star Kyle Johnson showed some interest in her, she jumped at the chance but did she really know what she was letting herself in for? She ignored the signs that there was something very wrong with Kyle and suffered greatly at his expense.
Zach Bertano, he's protective of Tatum and would do anything to keep her safe. I loved Zach's character, even though he was the bad boy of the school, you also saw the good side of him, that you can't help but love.
My only downfall is I thought she moved on to quickly after what happened to her.
Girl Spoken For is a book fill of mystery, drama. An amazing story that will keep you gripped until the end.
