I received this Trust of NetGalley, for an honest review. Thank you. Okay... So first I have to admit Trust is the first book I've read by Kylie Scott. I know, I know, hangs my head in shame :). But I can assure you it won't be the last. Where to start, well, when I first spotted Trust the cover and synopsis pulled me in, yet I dubious as a lot of books lately haven't kept me interested. But I was pleasantly surprised. From the first chapter, Trust pulled me in. I just had to know what was going to happen. I didn't put the book down and read in one sitting. Edie is a strong character after everything she'd been through she didn't shy away and be a meek girl, afraid of her shadows. She had sass and wasn't afraid to stand up for herself or for the ones she loved. John, okay I don't like the name but he was a very likeable character. A bad boy persona but with a soft centre, whom really cared for Edie. Trust was very well written. The storyline was easy to follow and kept you gripped until the end. I would love a follow-up story or maybe Hangs and Anders story?!

Yeah, well One of us is lying reminded me of the breakfast club but with a major twist. Like a major twist! The storyline is narrated by the four remaining students. Which I felt added to the story. One of us is lying is filled with twists, and a whole load of mystery. A book I definitely recommend.

And then, as if my life didn’t already suck, my dad sends my brother and me to some idyllic island for the summer to live with a grandma we never met. WTH. Naturally, I rebel. In the end, I find myself shipped off to Raven Hallow…and bored to tears. Until I get an eyeful of the mind-bendingly gorgeous Zane Hunter. Yet, there is something uncanny, almost supernatural about Zane, and it’s not just his devastating smirk. My past comes back to terrorize me. Someone wants me dead, and the closer I get to the truth, the more I realize my whole life is a lie. I am no longer sure what is more frightening—the attempts on my life or the guy whose heart and soul are synchronized with mine. This is the first book I've read by J.L. Weil and it won't be the last. I thoroughly enjoyed White Raven and can't wait to read more. The storyline was original, unique and easy to follow. The main character's were very likeable. I loved Piper's sass. And what's better than a bad boy, the boy who's out of reach, yeah... I loved Zane. Okay, where to start... Well, I have mixed feelings, on one hand I enjoyed reading Pivotal Moments but on the other hand, I found Aislinn to be really annoying. I understand she was younger and more naive than Teagan but there were moments where I found myself rolling eyes at her naivety. Okay... so I loved Teagan. Even though I thought I was going to dislike him at one point. Teagan is totally swoon-worthy, even though he has a history of being a heart breaker, I found him to be a perfect match for Aislinn. He kind of levelled her out, helping her to overcome her insecurities. Overall, Pivotal Moments was an okay read but I found the book to have too many clichés. ![]() Tully isn’t alone in her skin. From the author of Every Ugly Word comes a poignant, emotionally raw story about the violence that plays out behind closed doors and the all-consuming passion of first love. Amazon UK Reviewed by Claire I received Dark Touch from Netgalley for an honest review, thank you. Have you ever felt broken? Worthless? This is exactly how Tully feels. Alone. To become even more of a social outcast. But Chris fight's for the only girl he wants, is he able to break down her barriers? To show her how he see's her. “My feelings. Whenever anyone touches my hands they feel what I feel.” Okay, so Dark touch touches on some difficult and upsetting situations. Which I feel would be too much for a young adult audience but with that being said I enjoyed reading it. I found Tully to be a strong and well-established character. Although I would've liked to have learned more about her power of touch. Where did the powers come from? Were they inherited? Chris is the sweet, kind, boy next door type with a huge heart. Although I liked Chris, I didn't feel as connected with him as I did with Tully. Dark touch is an emotional read, but definitely worth the read. ![]() Memories make us human. Reviewed by Claire 3.5 Stars I received If I Should Remember from Netgalley for an honest review, thank you. When I started reading If I Should Remember, I wasn't sure if it was going to be for me but I strangely found myself transfixed to the pages trying to work out what was going on. If I Should Remember is full of mystery and suspense. While you find yourself clueless with what happened to Zoe, the story grips you to finding out the mystery. The characters are well established and likeable. The only disappointment for me, is I'm left with unanswered questions. I think we needed more explanation on Rin, I understand he was her way of coping but there was stuff he knew, which wouldn't have been possible. So while I found myself gripped to the mystery, I felt stuff was left unanswered.
